This is a drawing that I did of my girlfriend as a birthday present and a Whites day present to her. One of my first real stabs at still life art. I know there are parts where I could've done better, but I had started on this one day at 2:30 am, and didn't get done until about 2 or so hours later. If anybody has pointers about still life drawing, I'd love to hear them. I'll eventually put a picture of of the actual photo that I got this from.
i would just say, draw a grid on your ref pic and the same grid on the space you're going to draw in. the first time i did it made a HUGE difference in the way it turned out. it just makes it easier to see the placement andsize of the parts of the face and everything its good first try too

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
